This temple is one amongst ancient shiva temple and is located at Thalikotta which
is hardly 2 km from Kottayam. The temple was believed to be the main place of worship
of Thekkumkoor royal family.
The annual festival is celebrated during April-May for 10 days. Shivaratri (January/
February) is also special here. During the festive season, large number of devotees
comes to the temple.
