The presiding deity of this temple is Lord Narasimha Moorthy. The Narasimha temple is estimated to be around 3000 years old. The temple was found buried under earth in 2010. The people in the area bought 36 cents of temple land and excavated the site to find magnificent stone structures, idols and many others items. The temple also has a pond which is adorned with large stones. Efforts are on to secure the whole land belonging to the Narasimha deity and reconstruct the temple in His name.
Narasimha Jayanthi is celebrated in this temple in grand manner.
