The temple is also known as Iringakkavu.The temple was owned by 'Vazhappadu' Illam.
It is very ancient temple. There is close relationship between this temple and 'Budha'.
'Kavadiyattam' in the month of 'Kumbham' is the celebration here. Its on 'uthram'
day of malayalam calendar.
In this temple the Lord Ayyappa is worshipped for removing the obstacles made by
'Sani'. Worshipping lord ayyappa will protect you all sort of 'sani dosha'.
