Situated beside the shore of Paapanasam. Could see a metal bell donated by Mr. Peter
Wanbelson Middleburge in 1757 when he escaped from a big accident in the sea by
the grace of this God. The holy water from the Kokkarni is used for Abhishekam.
It is believed that this deity was founded by Brahma and worshipped by Devas.

Ashtamirohini, Sivarathri, Navarathri, Vishu are also celibrated. Tuesday, Saturday,
Sunday, Monday, Pradosha, Amaavasi days are also important.
Chirup in the season of mandala, Garudavahana in the day of Thiruvonam in every
month & Aarattu in the day of Uthram in Meenam.

charthu etc are offered here.
