Description:
Beautiful
temple here in kerala with presiding deity Sree rama. Considered as most
important temple for sreerama. Triprayar River in near by,
The idol is holding Shankhu, Chakra, Rosary and Mace.
It is believed that Vakkey Kaimal found this idol. Lakshman, Koodalmanikyam
Bharathan and Shatrughna are the other deities seen in this temple. These
images were installed at Muzhikulam, Irinjalkkuda and Payammel respectively.
There is an image of Dakshinamurthi with garland in one hand, representing
Brahma. In the Namaskara Mandapam, square on plan with pyramidical copper
roof, a Hanuman image is worshipped.
