The annual festival of thie temple lasts ten days, begins on Dhanu month of malayam calendar which falls after the Mandala Pooja in Sabarimala temple.

Description:

Speciality of this temple is that there is no idol for this temple. The temple constructed and maintained by Ammachi Veedu, a dedicated family. Guru is the presiding deity. This Guru is believed to be guru of Sree Dharma Sastha of the Sasthamkotta. It is believed that this deity is given to this family by Sree dharma sastha himself. The members of the family are prohibited from visiting premises of Shasthamkotta temple since the deity of the family temple occupies the position of Dharma Sastha's Guru.

You can find Sarpakavu, Parappooramma Bhagawathy, Nagaraja, Nagayakshi, and Naga Kanyaka in this temple.

Rektha Chamundi, Ganapathy, Paramparu, Marutha, Yakshi, Gandharvan, Rekshas, Vethalan, Yogeshwaran are the main sub deities of this temple. Special deity called "Ginnu" is installed in the temple compound where muslims can be worshipped. The main speciality is that there is no caste bar in this temple. any people can visit this temple. The temple is famous for destroying evil spirit and protecting bhakthas.
