Description:

The presiding deity here is Sree Durga Devi. Temple is installed by Parasurama (incarnation of Maha vishnu). This is one amongst 108 durga temples in kerala. This is the one of the temple which got damaged during Tippu Sultan’s invading army in 1785. Temple was totally damaged and unnoticed for several years. Current situation of temple is much better and devotees around the place helped for re-constructing this temple.
