The annual festival is in the month of Kumbam (February/March). Vela, Padayani, Garudan Thookkam are some worth attracting.

Description:

The presiding deity is bhagavathy. Deity is facing north side. The temple is situated at Paramara. This temple is also known as Parambanar Kulangara Bhagawathy and Paramara Grandma.

Siva, Ganapathy, Brahmarakshas, Nagayakshi and Alunkal Bhagawathy are the sub deties in this temple.

There legend behind this temple is. Once a brahmin from distant place reached Parambanar Kulangara. He had a habit of carrying an idol of goddess for worship wherever he goes. He kept the idol at did pooja there. Once worship is over, he noticed that the idol is stiffed up there and was unable to lift. This incident made all villagers gather there and recommended to build a temple there. The temple gradually became famous and came to know as Paramara Bhagawathy temple.
