Festival:

The Kumbha Bharani alias Kumbhamkudam (dancing with pots on heads) festival of the temple, attracts thousands of devotees. Other main events celebrated here are Kalamezbuthupattu, Meena bharani, Pathm udayam and Mandalam chirappu.
