Description:

The presiding deity here is goddess Durga. This is considered as one amongst 108 durga temples in kerala. This kavu is situated in three acres of forest. The speciality of this kavu is that there is no roof for devi.

Another main feature of this kavu is Thalam Thullal. Here thalam thullal is conducted by men, not women. The men takes thalam by wearing traditional mundu and melmundu.
