The presiding deity here is Sree Parvathy
devi in the form of Kirathi.
The speciality of this temple is there is no
deites in the sree kovil but a small area is kept protected.
The deity is considered more powerful on tuesday, friday and
sundays. Deity is made up of Pancha Loha (mixture of 5 materials).
Devi is is Lakshmi, Saraswati, Durga, and Bhadrakali
all
in
one form which forms as
a Kirati.
The deity
is so small and unnoticeable, hard to see on special days because
deity is fully covered with thecchi flowers.
One can see wick lamps around the deity. The
best time to see the deity is early morning before She is covered.
