Description:
Another devi temples which is constructed
by Lord Parasurama. This is one amongst 108 durga temples. Presiding
deity here is Annapoorneshwari. The temple is situated at Cherukunnu
in Kannur,
12 km from Taliparamba.
History says that Annapoorneshwari devi of Kashi
came to Cherukunnu place in a ship with 3 maid servants
and a number of their followers, and settled in the spot where
the temple is now situated.
