Description:
The presiding deity of this temple is lord siva with presence of
goddess parvathy. This temple.
This is one amongst siva temples which has destroyed during the
period of Tipu Sultan's attack, hundreds of years back.
The idol
has recovered later from the nearby pond (Kadalayikulam). Devotees
of Chooloor then
re-built the temple with the guidence of Dr. Vijayan Karumathra.
