Description:
The presiding deity in
this temple is Lord Ayyappa. This temple situates
in the valley of 'Vyasachalam'. There is a big
pond and a ground near the temple. In the midst
of the ground, Lord Ayyappa resides and Bhagavathy
is also there. we can see a sculpture of saint
'Vyasa' and two holy streams on the top of 'Vyasachalam'
. There is also the stone works of 'Pandavas'.
The temple is famous for doing 'Bali karmas'.
Its believed that Lord Ayyappa had stayed there
as a student of saint 'Vyasa'.
Also
there are two trees(Pala) and one well. Its that place
where Pandavas went to heaven ,leaving their bodies.
Its another belief. The place is so beautiful. |
