Description:
The presiding deity in
this temple is Lord Ayyappa. The temple was under
the control of 'Pulinjeri' Nair family. Then
it was handed over to 'Kunnathulli Achan' family.
'Thathampulli' Devi temple is just near this
temple. Its believed that the body of Sastha is in this temple, head in 'Thayankavu'
and legs in 'Mulamkunnanthukavu'.
