The main festival is 'Makaravilakku'. The celebration ends after 5 days. 'Pankuni Uthram', 'Mandalam Chirappu' and 'Laksharchana' made by 'Sananthurapuri' brahmin Sabha are the other celebrations.

'Kedavilakku' in this temple have more importance. It represents the prosperity of the village.

 

Description:

The presiding deity in this temple is Lord Ayyappa. In this temple Lord Ayyappa faces to east and resides with wife and son. The temple was under the ownership of 'Paduthol' Mana.

The sub deities are Lord Vinayaka, Lord Hanuman, Lord Siva, Bhagavathy, Lord Vishnu, Lord Muruga , Nagas and Navagraha.
