'kodiyettu' of the festival is on the day 'Uthram'
of the month 'Meenam' and celabrain will end after
ten days along with 'Arattu'. 'Velakali' and lighting
'Pallivilakku' are something special here.

Description:
The
presiding deity of this temple is Lord Ayyappa.
There is a belief about the formation of this temple.
Once Lord Ayyappa was in the mission of removing
the robbers in that area. On the way ,Ayyappa took
rest on a rock. At that time one of the 'Yatheendran'
saw it and realized that the rock had got a power.
He suddenly called a 'Brahmin' boy near the place
and made a 'pooja' there. That Brahmin boy went
home and told everything to the family members.Thus
they made the temple there. This family is known
as 'Idayaranmula' Mana.
