Description:

The presiding deity of this temple is Lord Ayyappa. This temple is situated on the top of a hill.Actually there is no temple. Its just a worshipping place. The place is just protected by a half compound wall and there is no roof. Nobody knows about the formation of the temple.

Except Ayyappa, there are 'Malachi devi' too. There are more stones too, as they are believed to be Lord Vinayaka, Nagas and some other deities. The temple is attached with nature. Lord Ayyappa is believed to be the protector of this place and 'Malachi devi' is believed to be the Goddess of Prosperity.

There is close relation ship between Mundarakodu Ayyappa and Mundackal fort. But there is no proof about it.
