The 'Kodiyettu' is on the day 'Uthram' of the malayalam month 'Kumbham' and the fesival ends after eight days along with 'Arattu'. The 'Ezhunnellippu' on the day of 'Pallivetta' is famous. Also the 'Niramala' festival on the first saturday of the malayalam month 'Dhanu' is important.

 

Importance / Main offerings:

'Thiyattu' is the main offering in this temple. Mostly Its done for getting good children.

 

Description:

The presiding deity in this temple is Lord Ayyappa. In this temple the deity faces to the west side. The story of 'Kiratha' makes the 'Balikkalpura' most artistic. Lord Vinayaka is the sub deity in this temple.
