On 'Uthram' in the malayalam month 'Makaram',people celebrates festival of eight days in the temple. Also the season of 'Mandalam' and 'Makarasamkramam' has a speciality in this temple.

The main offerings are 'Ellu payasam' and 'Elluthiri'.

 

Description:

The temple is also called 'Narangavallikkavu'. The temple was found by a group of brahmins who came from north kerala. They have reached south kerala for leading peaceful life. During that time there was conflict between 'Samoothiri' and 'Vellakkattiri'. After many years, one group of brahmins had installed the idol at this place with the help of the villagers .
