Anniversary of installation of idol is celebrated each year on the day 'Rohini' of the malayalam month 'Kumbham'.'Padipooja' on that day is something special.

 

Importance / Main offerings:

'Narangavilakku'(lamps made by lemon),'Aravana' and 'Elluthiri' are the main offerings.'Annadhanam' on 'pankuni uthram' is also special.

 

Description:

The temple was first owned by 'Muriathottam' family.It locates near seaside.Its believed that the idol is installed by 'Parasurama'.The temple is open only on selected days.ie,first day of every malayalam month,everyday from vrischikam to makaram 1st and some selected days.
