In the temple ,people celebrate 'mandala pooja' as their festival.Also they celebrates Arattupuzha pooram along with 'Makaram purappadu','Punartham vilakku' and 'Atham Kodikkuthu'.

 

Importance / Main offerings:

In the temple there is a belief that the deity has a controlling power over elephants.The main offerings here are 'Elluthiri',Archana','Kadum payasam' and 'Neyyabhishekam'.Also one offering named 'Thrikkannu Charthal' is good for eye diseases.'Dharmasastha' in this temple is also treated as 'Vydhya Nathan'.

 

Description:

In this temple 'Dharmasastha' resides in the form of 'Bhrahmachari' facing to the west.The idol was installed by 'Varuna'. Every year they celebrates the anniversary of installation of idol in the malayalam month of 'Makaram'.
